Programs for Hope and Healing



programs for hope and healingKennedy's Center for Hope and Healing promotes an optimum life experience for people with cancer, their family members and medical caregivers. 


Through individual and group sessions, self expression through interaction with others, physical activities and various arts - is introduced and encouraged as an effective tool for coping with cancer.

Programs such as these are offered at some of the leading cancer centers in the country, including the Abramson Cancer Center at the University of Pennsylvania, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, and Duke University.  Kennedy is proud to offer these programs at no cost to those with cancer and their caregivers who entrust their care to us.

It is also used for post-operative or palliative care. Reflexology is recommended as a complementary therapy and should not replace medical treatment.

Anyone can do it regardless of age or condition. Great by itself or complements other exercises, lowers blood pressure, improves balance and coordination, slows and improves breathing and builds strength and vitality for cancer patients during and after treatment.
